At Jim Kanamoto's Shop

We travelled to Jim's place in Fremont, CA and he has GMC coaches everywhere! They all came after the rally and we thought by now most of them would be gone. We have camped for the night along with a fellow from San Antonio, TX and a guy with a motorcycle (and a coach) not sure where he's from. Jim is so generous. He has provided us with power, water & internet connection and left the shop unlocked so we can use the washrooms. We will have to decide tomorrow whether to wait 'til next week to have some work done or just buy some supplies and take them with us. In any case, we are having a good time and meeting interesting folks. Tomorrow we may go to San Jose.....So long from Fremont where it's nice and warm and the air smells good! Janet

Hi Mom and Dad,
Yesterday we woke up to more snow in Calgary. As much as 22 cm fell in some parts of Calgary and the commute to work was pretty wild. The scenery shown in your photos is so beautiful. Sounds like the rally was a huge success and it seems a little sad when it all ends. I've bought my ticket to Victoria for Sarah's wedding. It'll be lots of fun. Bye for now - Karen

HI mom and dad,
Do you know the way to San Jose...da da da da. Are you humming your way along the highway??
THe other night Barb and I were (re) telling the story about the morning Michelle was born. We never get tired reflecting on that little chapter in the sims family almanac. Hard to believe she's 31 today. Hope your enjoying every minute of your road trip.
Love Karen
