Camping on the desert at Quartzsite, AZ

Well, we arrived in Quartzsite a week ago today and spent three nights at our friends, the Sanders, place close to the centre of town. There were four GMCs and and one other rig there. We moved to the open desert on Thursday and joined the 49ers group for a rally over the weekend. 12+ coaches. The big tent RV show opened up Sat. morning and the crowds arrived from all directions. What a madhouse! Many good deals to be had and the weather was perfect for browsing the stalls. Lots more to report but I am losing my signal so will post now. Watch for pictures and more! Happy New Year & the decade of the tens!

Well, seems as though we are so busy I can't get around to blog posting!! Our lifestyle has become very laid-back and the days float by. We have been going three times a week to the Palm Desert Athletic Club and that is giving some structure to our life. Alan is getting lots of handball games with all his new "old buddies" and I am taking aquacise and cycling classes. Next week I'm going to add some yoga and Zumba classes to the mix.
We had a lovely time over Xmas & New Years. Went to a beautiful service Xmas morning with Alan and the Nagles and then the four of us went to a great restaurant for a traditional dinner. I have lots of pictures to post.
